İTU Nova – İGDAŞ Optimum outlet temperature determination for natural gas distribution gate stations

The project initiated between İTU Nova and İGDAŞ will establish a framework as well as a road map for determining optimum temperatures at RMS/A outlet, reducing both gas consumption for heating and CO2 emissions associated aims at eventually providing the logical core for a smart heating system that would decide the outlet temperature dynamically through various key inputs obtained in real time through the SCADA system. The project is led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Çınar from the Department of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering on the ITU side.
