Corridor Museum Visit Request Form
Visits to the
Rock-Mineral and/or
Fossil museums can be made on
Tuesdays or
Thursdays, between
10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. or
1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Visits are conducted with a faculty member and a responsible teacher, and the visit duration is 30 minutes per group.
Rules that museum visitors must comply with:
- Create tour requests 15 days in advance.
- Send tour requests on company letterhead, signed by the school administrator, along with the request form to madendek@itu.edu.tr.
- In case of changes to the field trip plan or circumstances requiring cancellation, notify madendek@itu.edu.tr at least 5 days in advance,
- Due to the safety of participating students and the size of the museum area, form groups of no more than 30 students each,
- During the field trip, do not touch rock and mineral specimens, fossils, or the display cases they are in,
- Do not walk backwards to avoid bumping into rock and mineral samples or fossils,
- Do not speak loudly or make noise in the museum, as our museums are located in corridors with classrooms and offices,
- If visiting the museum as a group, do not leave the group under any circumstances,
- Do not eat or drink anything in the museum corridors.
