Mining Awareness Seminar for Students in Şile by ITU Faculty of Mining Engineering
As the ITU Faculty of Mining Engineering, we took part in the event titled "Promoting a Love for Mining", held at Necda Moralıgil Primary and Secondary School in Sofular Village, Şile. The event was attended by Şile District Director of National Education Mr. Dursun Teyram, SERHAM President Mr. Adnan Geredeli, regional school principals, local sand and clay industry representatives, and our department heads. During this meaningful gathering, we engaged with students to inform them about the importance of mining, Turkey’s underground resources, and environmentally responsible mining practices.
