2023 results of the list of most influential scientists of the world compiled annually through the cooperation of Elsevier and Stanford University has been announced
(for detailed list: click). The list included “Annual Impact” category and “Career-Long Impact” category. The rankings were based on objective criteria such as number of high-quality publications, number of citations, number of patents, h-index and hm-index of academics. ITU became the university with the highest number of scientists from Türkiye in the “Career-Long Impact” and “Annual Impact” lists compiled by Elsevier and Stanford University.
11 academics from İTÜ Faculty of Mines have been included in the 'Annual Impact' category, and 11 academics have been included in the 'Lifetime Impact' category.
