Dry Enrichment of Fine Coal

IMBAT Mining and Energy Corporation, which produces coal in the Soma region, was visited upon the invitation of the company, and the facility was inspected and discussions were held on various improvement works.

In order to comply with environmental regulations, to use natural resources effectively and to increase production efficiency, a joint project has been prepared for the dry enrichment of fine coals enriched by wet processing at the facility.

Within the scope of the project, 1 ton sample was brought to our laboratories from the fine sized coals and tests were carried out with pilot scale dry coal enrichment devices. As a result of the extensive characterization and enrichment studies, a detailed report including the alternative process flow charts, an example of which is given below, was submitted to the company.
