A team involving researchers from the ITU Mining Engineering Department, Public Institution and Industry won the “Best Paper Award” in Eurock 2021 Symposium organized by Italian Geotechnical Association (IGA) and International Society of Rock Mechanics (ISRM).
The paper presents recent findings obtained within the framework of a TUBITAK-1001 project (Project No: 217M729, Project Title: Performance Prediction and Optimization of Raise Boring Machines (RBMs)). It shows a good example of university-industry partnership that is of utmost important for high-quality innovative scientific research.
